Before & After

After Before Before After

The Challenge

For a healthcare business, being visible online is not simply about having a website. When someone searches for a healthcare service in a specific location, they are usually looking for a business they can trust and contact quickly.

The challenge for Geetanjali was to build stronger visibility for relevant local searches and create a more consistent presence across its website and local search ecosystem.

The goal was not simply to increase the number of keywords ranking in Google. The bigger goal was to build a stronger local SEO foundation that could help the business reach people who were actively searching for relevant healthcare services.

Understanding the Business Problem

Before making changes, Infosheek first looked at the business from the perspective of a potential customer. A person searching for a healthcare service may not search for the business name.

They may search for:

  • A specific healthcare service
  • A healthcare provider near them
  • A service in a particular location
  • A solution to a specific problem
  • A trusted healthcare business nearby

This means that simply having a website is not enough.

The website needs to clearly communicate:

Who the business serves, what services it provides, where it operates, and why a potential customer should consider contacting it.

That became the starting point for our SEO strategy.

Our Approach

Rather than making random SEO changes, Infosheek followed a structured approach. We first studied the existing digital presence and identified opportunities across local search, website content, business information, keyword targeting and internal website structure.

The strategy was built around six key areas:

  • Local keyword research
  • Google Business Profile optimisation
  • Website local SEO improvements
  • Location-focused content
  • Internal linking
  • Ongoing search performance monitoring

The focus was to create a stronger connection between the business, its services, its location and the searches made by potential customers.

Local Keyword Research

The first step was understanding what potential customers could actually search for. Instead of targeting keywords only because they had search volume, we looked at the relationship between:

Search Intent + Service + Location + Customer Need

This helped us identify relevant local search opportunities and understand which pages should support those searches. The purpose of keyword research was not to add keywords everywhere.

It was to understand the questions and needs behind those searches.

This allowed us to build a more focused SEO structure.

Google Business Profile Optimisation

For a local healthcare business, Google Business Profile can play an important role in helping potential customers discover the business. Infosheek worked on strengthening the business information and improving the connection between the business profile, services and website.

The objective was to create a more consistent local search presence.

This included reviewing areas such as:

  • Business information
  • Service relevance
  • Local search signals
  • Website connections
  • Business descriptions
  • Local visibility opportunities

The goal was simple:

When someone searches for a relevant healthcare service locally, the business should have a stronger and more complete digital presence.

Website SEO Improvements

A website should not make users or search engines guess what a business does. We reviewed the website structure and identified opportunities to make important service and location information clearer.

The work focused on improving:

  • Page relevance
  • Service-focused content
  • Local relevance
  • Page structure
  • Keyword targeting
  • Internal linking
  • Search intent alignment

Instead of treating every page separately, we looked at how the website works as a complete system. This helped create a clearer relationship between the main services, supporting content and local search opportunities.

Location-Focused Content

Local SEO requires more than simply adding a city name to a page. A useful local page should make sense to the person searching from that location.

We therefore focused on making location-related content more relevant and useful rather than relying on repetitive keyword placement.

The objective was to create content that could answer a potential customer's basic questions while also helping search engines understand the business's local relevance.

Internal Linking Improvements

One area that is often overlooked in SEO is internal linking. A website can have good content, but if its important pages are poorly connected, users and search engines may struggle to understand the relationship between those pages.

Infosheek improved the internal linking approach by connecting relevant:

Service → Location → Supporting Content

pages where appropriate. This helped create a more logical website structure and made it easier for visitors to move from information to the next relevant page.

The Challenges We Faced

SEO rarely follows a straight line. One of the biggest challenges was making improvements without treating SEO as a one-time activity.

  • Search behaviour changes.
  • Competitors change their strategies.
  • Google changes its search systems.
  • Business priorities can also change.

Because of this, we had to focus on building a foundation that could be monitored and improved over time.

Another challenge was maintaining a balance between:

Search Engine Optimisation and Human Experience.

It would have been easy to add keywords repeatedly across pages. Instead, we focused on making the content understandable and useful first, while naturally improving its search relevance.

How Infosheek Solved the Problem

Our approach was based on improving the complete local search journey rather than focusing on one SEO element. We connected the major parts of the strategy:

  1. Understand the Search : We researched relevant local search opportunities and user intent.
  2. Improve the Business Presence : We strengthened the local business information and search presence.
  3. Improve the Website : We worked on service relevance, local content and website structure.
  4. Connect Important Pages : We improved internal linking so related pages supported each other.
  5. Monitor Performance : We continued reviewing search visibility and identifying new opportunities.
  6. Keep Improving : SEO was treated as an ongoing process rather than a one-time project.

The Outcome

The project established a stronger foundation for local search visibility and improved the business's ability to target relevant location-based search opportunities. More importantly, the work created a structured SEO framework that can continue to be improved as the business grows.

The outcome was not based on one isolated SEO change. It came from bringing together:

Keyword Strategy + Local SEO + Website Optimisation + Content + Internal Linking + Continuous Monitoring

This is the approach Infosheek believes creates more sustainable SEO growth.

What We Learned From the Project

One of the biggest lessons from this project is that local SEO is not simply about ranking for a location keyword. A successful local SEO strategy connects the complete customer journey.

A potential customer may:

Search → Compare → Visit Website → Check Business Information → Build Trust → Make an Enquiry

Every part of that journey matters. If one part is weak, the overall digital experience can suffer.

That is why Infosheek looks beyond rankings and considers the complete search experience.

Why This Approach Matters for Other Businesses

If your business is facing problems such as:

  • Low local search visibility
  • Poor website traffic from your target location
  • Weak Google Business Profile presence
  • Service pages that are not generating enquiries
  • Poor website structure
  • Duplicate or weak location content
  • Difficulty competing with established businesses
  • SEO efforts that are not producing clear results

the solution may not be simply "add more keywords." The first step is understanding what is preventing your website from performing better. That is where a structured SEO strategy can make a difference.

Building SEO for Long-Term Growth

At Infosheek, we don't look at SEO as a checklist where a few technical changes mean the project is finished.

  • SEO is an ongoing process.
  • We analyse.
  • We optimise.
  • We measure.
  • We learn.
  • Then we improve.

For Geetanjali, the focus was to establish a stronger local SEO foundation that could support continued search visibility and future growth.
